Located in the heart of the Julian Alps and the Triglav National Park, Villa Tranquility is surrounded by pure nature, with stunning views of the nearby Lake Bohinj and the Slovenian mountains. Situated in a very quiet location at "the end of the world" with no roads passing by , this is the place where to relax your body and soul. Large, green areas around the house are perfect for children’s play or just sit down on the freshly cut lawn and rejuvenate your senses. This beautiful mountain house measures 250 m2 and can host up to 8 people. Your host has thought of every comfort and provided luxurious towels and silk bed linen. Stroll to the lake, try the numerous sports on offer, taste the delicious food and wine. A day trip to the seaside is possible, 150 km away. The house is in the ground of a small 10 room boutique hotel which is under the same ownership so the restaurant and bar facilities of the hotel are close at hand.

ACCOMMODATION

Ground floor

On the ground floor is a perfectly equipped kitchen with oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, toaster and coffee maker, all cooking utensils and tableware. The kitchen opens up to an elegant dining room. The open fireplace in the living room will warm you up during winter days after a daily ski trip to the nearby slopes of Vogel or Soriska planina, while the youngsters will be amused by a home cinema, satellite TV+CD player. On the same floor is also a quiet room for relaxation with an office area and another WC. Equipped with underfloor heating, this house will satisfy the whole family and is suitable for renting all year long. Washing machine and ironing board are provided.

First floor

The villa has 3 bedrooms and a living room on the upper floor, each with a magnificent view of the Lake Bohinj and the surrounding mountains. All bedrooms have king-size beds. The bathroom, divided from the toilet facility, has every luxury: two basins, a Jacuzzi and a bathtub. High quality cotton towels and silk bed linen are provided. Natural materials like solid wood, marble and granite have been used to furnish the house and help to create an elegant but also cosy atmosphere at the same time.

OUTSIDE

This house is surrounded by 1500 m2 of garden laid to lawn that reaches almost all the way down to the lake. Two large balconies enable you to enjoy the view from the bedrooms every morning or a glass of wine on the terrace at dusk. Lots of different sports activities and cultural events will enhance your stay. Lake Bohinj is incredibly beautiful and suitable for swimming. There are countless hiking paths around the lake. The Park is inhabited also by 84 different bird species and endemic plant species, one of which is the famous Alpine poppy. An International Wild Flower Festival takes place in Bohinj every year at end of May/beginning of June. This festival is accompanied by a festival of tales for the smallest in the Goldenhorn Fairytale Land near the lake. The traditional Cheese maker and Honey trails are a unique experience and a delight for everyone’s palate.
